Hey guys just wanted a place to store the progress that goes into my Runner. I've been lurking around since I bought her in September and I appreciate all the time you guys put into these threads so newbies like me can have some idea of how to wrench on the easier things instead of having to shell out a good chunk of change every time you need to change the oil :amen:
Anyways.. Like I said, I got the truck towards the end of September. I have had a 2nd gen a few years ago and loved it, but got an offer for a Jetta I couldn't pass up. It's got 219,xxx and still runs better than any car I've owned. I'm a teaching assistant so money comes every once in a blue moon. So it will take a while to get it where I want it.
This is what it looked like when I bought it in September + the running boards.
Her first Snow and got around great! even on terrible tires
Finally got the tires I was looking for! LT265/75/16 Duratracs. And some stickers for extra hp :biggrin1:
I wont be doing much offroading besides weekend camping trips and spur of the moment bon-fires. So I was thinking a 2" lift would serve me just fine. Hopefully I can make that happen this summer. Also the bumper RipCord has is pretty bad ass, but like I said, moneys tight so we'll see what gets accomplished.
