Hi, just got done installing my westin bull bar for my '07 limited, and also got the front license plate bracket relocator--but just FYI, this is NOT needed, at least for 07 models...

Thank you for posting this!! I had the license plate bracket in my shopping cart with the bull bar and was about to checkout when I thought I confirm if it was necessary. You just saved me $30.

Sadly, the Westin models are on backorder until April. So I went with a SteelCraft model, which saved me about $50. Now waiting for it to arrive.

Hey...when u get the Steelcraft u wont be sad...u will be happy the Westins were in backorder...The way Steelcraft mounts are more secure, is wider and the tubes are thicker too..the fit is sturdier and no rattling at all, the skidplate is removable also... in other words.
More benefits for less money...u get more for ur money than a simple brand name.

Yeah...just prior to calling the company to find out why they hadn't shipped my Westin bar yet, I saw your post about the SteelCraft being wider. So when I was on the phone with that company's customer service and they informed me the Westin was on backorder, I searched their site and found the SteelCraft and they verified they had it in stock. They should send you a commission check 'cause it was your post that rescued their sale.
Glad you like it. What lights did you put on it? That'll be my next purchase.

I just went with some regular but nice looking driving lights to help out my Projectors which light output sucks...and also for some looks. I bought a pair of Pro Comp $35 That are doing the job and really making a difference at night vs just having my projectors.
Didn't really want to spend the money on Hellas or PIAA nor KC's even though I know they really worth it.

Well, lets not act like it's swiss cheese. The Westin bull Bar is still a quality product. Especially when the only "benefit" you get from any bull bar is mounting aux lights. Oh, and my Westin Bull Bar mounts onto 4 factory bolts, not 2. I've heard that thrown around a little too much. And there's no "rattle". So you're not getting "a simple brand name". FYI.:moon:

I just picked this Bull Bar up over the weekend and ran into the same "wrong bolts" issue. I hate it when my bolt doesn't fit in the hole! LOL!

I contacted the mfr, and they said they would send me replacements once they designed the new brackets. They never did it.
