What's the deal with dealers service department? I don't know why I bother with them...
There are 3 lanes into the service area, about 25 cars deep each. Once you get in line, they start each car, move it forward 1 car length, and turn it off. Now, repeat this about 20+ times before the cars get into the shop.
I asked the advisor about this practice and he then asked if I knew a better way & I told him I do not, but I couldn't imagine a dumber way either.
Last time I'll go to a dealership on Saturday; I guess making an appointment doesn't make a difference either.

Yeah pull up and then when I get out they drive it either to the shop or park outside until the shop is ready for it. What an idiotic way to move cars

I try to avoid the service departments of dealerships. Usually over priced.

Here's how Don McGill Toyota "fixes" something. They broke the heads off the skid plate bolts while changing the oil over the years & I asked them to fix it. What a joke.
