I'm on the hunt for an aluminum fuel tank skid. What do you have installed with C4 sliders? Any fitment issues?

I've got RCI skids full set and Shrockworks sliders. I know it's not your exact set up but hopefully this helps.
If bolt on sliders, you'll need to release one of the gas tank straps to install the RCI skid. Make sure the tank is supported when doing this and close to empty really helps when getting it back in to place. So try not to do the install on a med-full tank of gas.
Other than having the proper extensions on your wrench there are really no special tools required and it was an easy solo install with a floor jack and a beach towel.

They specifically installed a RCI skid with C4 sliders on a 5th gen and he comments on the fitment issues around 5:05 into the vid.
Note: If you have a 2.5" - 3" lift / extended travel in the back there may be some issues.
After my skid install the drive shaft would rub HARD against the passenger rear side of the gas skid plate. Nasty grinding noise when getting a lot of articulation in the rear. I had to take off the skid and create a new mounting point further in which allowed for the extra movement in the shaft where the U joints are. No more rubbing and it still covers that part of the gas tank.
Just something to keep an eye on for any gas skid if you have long travel in the back.
