What am I missing?

I just noticed today that there is a big blank hole where some sort of console is supposed to be?

What is this called so I can better search for a replacement??

It serves two purposes...it can be a garage door opener remote holder/clicker, or you can use it to stash sunglasses or other things by pulling it down. I keep my remote on my visor, so I use that cubby for sunglasses, usually.

Not sure what it would be called, but it's basically a little "bucket" that swings down, or can be pushed up to hit the remote.

Thats correct and the 3 little nipples you see in the pic can be stacked on each other to give the reach for any door remote so it makes contact when pushed

AH HA! I was wondering what they were for! Thank you so much to the both of you! Think I'm going to have a hard time replacing that door I hate those map lights anyhow. Are there any other ceiling consoles other than the Surf one that people commonly swap out to?

I would offer you my 97 one, but i doubt you would want holes in the roof, i upgraded to your style roof console and you cant retrofit from 99+ to a 98 and under. So it is either replace the current one with a non broken one or get the Surf Field monitor.
