What Customized Settings Have You Had The Dealership Do?

So tomorrow I'm headed to Toyota for my 10k maintenance and to have my courtesy settings customized to my liking.

For me, the big ones are the roll up/down feature for the windows using the Smart Key (I have a Limited).

What else should I ask to be customized?

I've been to this thread and saw all the features available (both documents within that link), but curious as to what others have done or would recommend.

UPDATE:
Technician came out with his computer system today and went through each feature step-by-step to ensure I knew what features he did and which ones he couldn't do. Here was what I had changed (for free btw):

- Windows roll down with SmartKey (roll up feature showed "not available")
- Opening moon roof wirelessly (it slides open completely)
**** Rear window does NOT roll down when the windows and sunroof roll down/open****
- Had doors lock feature changed so when vehicle is shifted into Park it does NOT automatically unlock the doors (moving to San Diego (close to Mexico) and don't need to get car jacked.
- Driver/Passenger Seatbelt Chime Disabled (I can't tell you how nice this feature is to have removed)
- Rear Wiper Interval Speed changed from 3 seconds to 5 seconds (Nice for wet road days)
- Opening Drivers Door Handle Sensor unlocks all doors

Seems silly, but I had the intermittent rear wiper time extended. I've noticed that during light rains the back window gets really misty but the factory setting for intermittent is still too often...so I slowed it down a bit.
 
I had them turn off the seatbelt chime.
(I always, always wear my seatbelt, so I feel naked without it...and I KNOW I'm not wearing it. Don't need the chime, especially since it's usually the 150 feet from my neighborhood mailbox to my house.)

Had them activate the feature to roll all my windows down (hold down "unlock" button).

Changed the settings to NOT unlock my car when it goes into "Park".

Changed the settings to lock the doors when car is put in "Park". (this might be the default, or going into "lock" at 5mph...i can't remember)

Changed the amount of time headlights stayed on after car was turned off.

2:17 pm: Edited to correct the "roll up" window statement, and add two others I did.

I had them activate the remote down for the windows with the smart key. I also had them turn off the seat belt chime.

I'm going to have them adjust the intermittent setting also now. I didn't know you could do that.
 
1. Extend rear wiper interval.
2. Extend rear wiper parking delay
3. Turn off passenger seatbelt chime so the kid can stay asleep in the back
4. Disable unlock all doors when transmission shifted to P - it's how you get car jacked
5. Enable lock all doors when vehicle speed exceeds 5 mph (in addition to the lock when leaving P)

I am mulling over some other changes, like the roll up windows/roll down windows thing, if that can be done on a TE.

I thought Rolling the windows down was the only option? I've been told and read that you cannot program the smart key to close the windows when holding down lock. You can confirm that yours does this?

BTW, thanks for your mod thread...I have been following it closely.
 
I don't think you can have it roll the windows up since that becomes a safety issue if things are in the way of the windows operation especially little fingers.
 
They have a safety roll up feature. If anything is in he way it rolls back down. The dealer showed me this with their hand.

You're right. I got excited and typed too fast. I just got the "roll down" feature.
 
So far I have the following on my list to do tomorrow:

- Windows roll up/down with SmartKey (can someone confirm both up and down are available to be programmed)
- Keep doors locked when vehicle is shifted into Park
- Driver/Passenger Seatbelt Chime Disabled
- Rear Wiper Interval Speed changed from 3 seconds to 5 seconds
- Opening Drivers Door unlocks all doors
- Opening moon roof wirelessly

Anything else I'm missing that others have done (let me know folks)?
 
Be prepared to get shot down on the seatbelt chime tho. Many folks on here including myself were have been denied that customizeable feature. Service states that the owners, of the dealership i assume, will not allow the seatbelt chime to be turned off due to liability.
 
They said no for seat chime for me at first but the tech didn't even know he had the ability to do so. I sat down with him in the truck as he went down the list of possible changes and he did this one for me too.


-seat chime off
-unlock all off
-lock all when you start driving on
-roll down windows on unlock
-roll up windows but you have to use the key manual... (lame)
-opening Drivers Door unlocks all doors off
-a few other things too but they weren't a big deal

Its odd you can't do the auto up remotely since all the windows are already automatic and have an anti-pinch feature....

Since most of the time my '11 Trail will be on a large ranch in cattle country with lay down gates and lots of crawling thru the sand hills, at delivery 2 mos ago I had seat belt chime and auto door lock when shifting to drive removed. There are no car-jackers or muggers where the deer and the antelope play.......we even leave the keys in!
 
Had the seat belt chimes turned off as well. So much nicer when launching my boat every weekend. Window roll down with key, won't use much, but nice to have on very hot days.
