What did everyone pay for their 4th gen?

I paid $14,500 on 7/4/16 for a 2007 Sport Edition 4WD V8 with 98k miles.

Got my T4R SE (V6 tho) on the same date! .. but with 140k on the odometer. Listed for $14500, paid $2,000 out the door + my 09 Acura Tsx. Probably spent about $300 in maintenance the week after I bought it. Gonna ride it out til it dies now.

Yeah, it's awesome. I think that's my biggest complaint-I've got no major work left to do!

I mean sure, I'm thinking of dual batteries, maybe getting a nav/backup camera compatible head unit, etc. Nothing really significant though. What a silly problem to have!

Searched for a few months and grabbed a 2004 sport v8 4x4 with one owner and all service records & 175k for $8000. Original southwest vehicle, no rust, no leaks, some sun burn but I'm more concerned with mechanical anyway. I plan to keep this girl for a while. Was looking in about a 500 mile radius and kept finding stuff at dealers that had been brought in from the rust belt or bad stuff showing up on Toyota records. Very happy with her!

WOW, I'm looking for nearly the same thing but down here in SoCal they're mostly 2004s that are priced around $15,000-18,000 with 100,000 to 200,000 miles. It seems like way to much to pay for a 12-13 year old vehicle but I'm not seeing them any cheaper. The 4wd v8 down here are expensive.

I have the same exact problem, live in socal and can't find a fourth gen v8 with under 160k for less than $12,00

That seems like a great deal! I keep looking, I'm seeing some around here pop up for about 11k and they are gone within 2 days but not in the best shape.

What? That would have been over 14 grand in Georgia. I can't find any 4x4 4th Gens with less than 130k under 15k especially a v8.

I've seen private sellers sell theirs for around 12K but they weren't in the best shape but they do still sell in 1-3 days. How are people finding theirs?

Exactly this, it's crazy here in Georgia and everyone I look at is from some snow state and probably rusted. I can't find any worth buying under 15 and even at 15 they have 120k miles and need work

I just paid $11k for my Salsa 05 Sport V8 with 160k miles and full service records since 55k. Excellent body condition with no rust, has a little undercarriage rust, but nothing a little por15 can't solve

Had a hard time getting my hands on one, most I looked at were sold in less than a week or rusted out. I'm from DFW and ended up just flying up to get this one, been a month so far and hadn't seen any comparable ones for sale yet.

And closed! Trigger pulled and picking up this weekend hopefully!

Yeah the San Diego market is horrible for 4x4 4runners since most of them are 2wd. I saw the same thing when I'd find stuff in sd. High price rough shape and already sold.

Nice! My 2008 was sold to its first owner in Feb 2009. I picked it up in NYC. I will be putting POR15 for the salty snowy roads this season between Toronto and NYC.

Picked up my 05 sport 2 months ago with the v8 for 12.5k, 113k on her, 1 owner, all maintenance done at dealer(TB, WP, etc), from the south. ZERO rust.

I had it shipped up here to Michigan for $700.

Love this damn truck!

The pic is what she sent me when I was buying it over the phone... told her sold in the first 2min of talking with her. Already put new 06 headlights on it and plasti dipped the emblems.

I purchased my 06 galactic gray sr5 v6 with 130k for 10,600 in NJ back in august of this year with few issues. so far replace radiator and the rest i spent on it was upgrades and mods
