those are the projectors I went with, its just simply take out the old housings, unplug the harness from the old housings, plug into the new housings, and reverse the rest of the process. If you want to wire the turn signals then you need to get 2 LED resistors and splice them into the factory signal harness. Just make sure the resistors are mounted well and away from plastic because they get really hot.

Do you have any pics of these on your truck? I was thinking of getting a set but doing a REAL projector retrofit. Those "projectors" inside are garbage. I have done a couple sets before using E46 projectors and Mini H1. Its night and day difference. I just want them for the LEDs that are inside but not sure what they would look like on the truck. I was actually trying to make something like these years ago before they even came out (see pics below) You shouldn't need any resistors on those LED markers they are already setup for 12v. You would just need to tap into the turn signal wire like you mentioned.
another idea i was playing with
and the output of my real projector retrofit

Yeah I'll sleep on pulling the resistor's. They work great right now, can still see them from out in front of the truck with the lights on. And here is the picture of how they look on, its about 20-25 feet to that wall.
FWAK... do you need to use resistors, or can you use a different turn signal relay for LED bulbs? I've found it works when I've replaced my regular bulbs with LED in the past. And, one of the guys I know used 3 or 4 LED lights for turn signals to replace the stock lights with his bumper upgrade, and that's how he got it to work. Saves some wiring...
Plan to rebuild transmission and take it to Baja
