I got my LEDs in Europe, but you'll find the info for 4R first gen interior and exterior leds in the US market in this thread:

Now you're going to swap the old light bulbs with LEDS, you can create a thread with that info in Toyota-4Runner.org, and ask the moderators to make it sticky, you'll help other members that way.

Alternative Fire Extinguisher Mount
was looking for an easy way to mount a fire extinguisher with in reach up front but not take up a lot of room. No body but the grandkid seems to ride in the back so I decided to try a MOLLE Hydroflask pouch out.
Just popped out the headrest and voila. It actually seems to be in there pretty tight with using the draw string to keep it tight.

Nope! I used this stuff cut in half with mineral spirits.

After sanding off most of the old paint I applied it with foam rollers and it took 8 coats. I know it's not ideal but I'm trying to keep costs down and didn't want to spend more on the paint than I did for the truck, and if I scratch it it isn't a big deal. Up close you can see it's far from perfect, but I'm happy with it.

Tonight I pulled off my Crown Vic push bumper in preparation for the Coastal Offroad install this weekend. Courtesy [MENTION=77310]BrandonF[/MENTION]. Shameless plug.

Front view didn't bother me. But the side view always did. Seemed to stick out a hair too far. Anyway, it's off now for upgrading to bumper and winch in the near future.
On another note, anyone interested in a Crown Vic push bumper with brackets? I can even throw in a slightly modified stock chrome bumper and valance to match all my mounting points as soon as new bumper is all done. Unlikely I'll have any takers but if so, I'll have it all available.

New fuel filter
Fixed timing to 12 degrees advanced at idle from what it was at 5 degrees after the cap/rotor replacement (I did not move the dist while doing this just removed and replaced the cap and rotor.
Still stutters are low rpm and low throttle but the timing doesn't fluctuate at idle and it has a bit more snap down low if I get on it. I did find out it's blowing oil past the rings if I push it too hard going up the mountain passes, 1 quart of oil in like 250 ish miles is too much. I slowed it down and it barely goes through any even a full day in 4Low.

Found another rare item today. A straight as an arrow rear bumper. I passed on one from Arizona a couple of years ago and this showed up locally. It needs some polish/buffer work, but it will show 100 percent better than my current twice bent bumper. And as a bonus it has two unbent end caps.

That’s pretty much what mine looked like. These stock chrome bumpers are pretty and all, but I don’t think people realize how useless they are structurally. One foot step on it and it’s bent.

So true! I love the look of it (when straight) and I know a trail bumper would be more useful......but I'd rather have the pretty tin-foil bumper that Toyota put on it.
