Yesterday I sprayed some raptor bed liner on the lower portions of the gen 2. Today I sprayed Lps 3 into all the rust prone crannies. Rockers, removed door panels and sprayed inside etc. I paid up for a rust free vehicle I plan to keep it that way.

checked/adjusted the valves on both '87 4runners. last adjusted on my red '87 50k miles ago, and all but one ex. valve clearance was still correct.

also replaced the body seam sealer on the white '87 along the gutter, using dynatron no. 550 seam sealer grey. used a soldering tool to remove the old dried sealer.

no. the gutter seams can't really be seen, so i'm not planning to paint the truck. i might paint the sealer with some white paint, but that would be the extent of it.

i wanted to stop the a-pillar leaking. most of the old sealer was cracked or completely missing from the gutter run around the cab windows. i did the same on my other '87 4runner earlier this year and the '88 4runner, and it stopped the leaking. well worth the expense of the product.

i bought two cartridges of the sealer, but have so far repaired both gutters on three 4runners and the trunk seam on my '89 camry with just one cartridge, and there's still some remaining in the tube.

Talked to a local fabricator about sliders, it will have some come January! I'm undecided on bumpers.

It's really between warn and the addicted offroad plate bumper (only looking at front right now). Anyone have opinions in either way? I am down the street from addicted offroad if that helps haha
