What did you have before your 4Runner?

Been a Dodge truck man for a while. Got into an accident where someone hit me in the rear and flipped the truck. Insurance totaled it and my mom had a 1998 4Runner SR5 in the back yard with 260,000 miles. Figured I would drive it until I could find something else and fell in love.

This. But really it was a mall crawler. It's a cherry 1984. No rust anywhere and all original panels. I didn't have the heart or guts to bash it. It stayed in the garage and only came out to play on pretty days. The top was on it twice. When I bought it in 2004 and when I sold it in 2014. My daily ride was a 2008 Range Rover for the past 10yrs. I have no idea why the pic is vertical?

Before the 4Runner I drove a WRX with a “few” performance mods hahah
Sometimes I miss the turbo and extra power, but I love my 4Runner. Wish I could have kept the WRX and get the 4Runner.

2014 Ford explorer sport with Ecoboost. Loved the get up and go and the white/black color scheme matched the state troopers so everyone got out of my way on the highway....but offroad the thing felt like it would fall apart.
