What did you pay for FJ Suspension?

I've been lurking on the fjcruiserforums.com classified section in search of some FJ springs, and if the deal is sweet enough some shocks as well. Some of these guys are asking $300+ for their sets and it seems a little high to me. Those who have done this mod, what did you pay? :help:

$80 for the springs and that included shipping. I would never buy them with the shocks as I would much rather have the Bilstein 5100's to level out the front end.

[MENTION=107760]salong53[/MENTION] I know we had 4 Fj cruiser wheels and Bridgestone tires off that same rig sitting in storage for like 4 months. They wanted to charge me $1100 for the setup. But I'd ask to speak to a parts manager to see if they have any take off or damaged parts

How much lift did you get from Tacoma front coils? And do they require any modification?

I bought 3 complete Trail Teams FJ Cruiser sets, one for my myself and two others for my friends. Paid $100 for a suspension with 20K miles on it, $200 for a set with 5K miles and $250 for suspension off of 2013 FJ Cruiser with 1100 miles on it.

$300 sounds a bit high especially if it's not TT.

I paid 50 for tacoma front coils too, and then used super flex in the rear. With the 5100's set at 2.5, I gained right at 4 inches up front, and about 2.5 in the back. Didn't require any modifications at all to the springs.

I found someone local on craigslist selling all four springs for $40. They have about 30k miles on them, but I was happy to buy them.

I paid 75 shipped. They were from an 07 FJ with 100k miles. Highly recommend this upgrade.

I paid $165 shipped for rear spring and front strut assembelies of of a 2014 FJ 4X4 with 2500 miles on the the FJ forum. I didnt want the front shock but he didnt want to disassemble (I went with 5100 adjustables up front and in the rear as well).
The ride is great, I have had the new set up running for about a week now.

I paid $70 for the whole shock/spring assy with top hats and mounting hardware. That's before the lovely shipping. Shipping ran me about $80 lol.

I went on Craigslist, went to auto parts section and typed in FJ. Found someone selling other FJ stuff and asked if they had spring to sale. He said sure, didn't think they would be worth anything. He sold them to me for $75 with shocks.
