what do yall think of these specs?

so im kinda disapointed in the set up i got from reading the specs, i've yet to try it out offroad. but this is what i currently have with the rancho setup i got plus the fj80 series 8.5 wraps in the rear.
what do yall think? will it suck in offroad by having little to no flex at all?

Pretty crappy but that is mainly your shocks limiting you. Flex is everything off-road, the IFS doesnt flex or twist up much however what really shines is how well the rear suspension works.

The proper shocks for the rear will be 13.8 Collapsed 23 extended. I am pretty sure that is the measurements of a factory LC shock or a Tundra rear shock. The fronts with the Bilsteins are a little longer but not much, this is due to they are inboard on that arc. Since the A-arms stick out past that you should end up with 8-9 inches of travel at the wheel.

yeah, but there are a few different part numbers for the rear shocks. I believe the one to use is listed in the Lift FAQs but I'm not sure. I can get you the part number I used to get mine.

thanks i just looked them up online and they arent expensive at all found them at toyota partszone for 38dls a piece... do you know the travel specs on these shocks?

I tried to supply the part number but the power went out here until now.

I have 3 different part numbers with 48531-69417 being the one I bought. When I plugged it into a part number search it showed 69486 was superceded by 69417

48531-69286 and 48531-69256 are 91-92 rear shocks for landcruisers. Use Pikemans link to see the difference in travel and the compressed length vs 48531-69417 95-97 LC rear shocks. Hope that helped.

i can also go with the rancho so i can keep ranchos all around and i wont have to pay for the replacement cause i can send mine in as a core. its just half an inch less
