Everything but the kitchen sink!

Oh, one thing that I forgot to mention… I also bring a couple pieces of clear, vinyl tubing, each about 6 feet long. I use these to siphon melt water out of the coolers, without having to remove anything or dump the cooler. If you have a gas can with a missing or faulty spout, you can also use one of these tubes to siphon gas into your vehicle.

Man, you guys are killing me with the Silver Oak. I had no idea there were so many wine snobs, err aficionados here on T4R. I expected to see that on Rennlist, not here :) :)

OK everyone, I take that back. Bring some bottles of good stuff. Just be sure to up the cuisine from burgers to sirloin or filet mignon.

Been on a Paso kick lately..

Curious as to what everyone takes on camping trips, what has worked and hasn't; gear, food, etc. Thanks everyone!

Lol. I'm really not, but my friend is a ridiculous wine snob. So, I just get bottles off of him and he's yet to disappoint me. The only thing I'm even remotely a snob about is my tequila. I like good tequila and sh*tty mexican beer.

OP, if you're car camping bring a pillow. Many people don't when there's plenty of room to stuff one in the car. And it's something that makes a weekend much more enjoyable.

One more excuse to bring a blow torch tip for the propane besides starting the fire. We were out in Joshua Tree in March and one of the Tacomas we were with bent his tie rod on the trail. There was a spare, but we couldn't get the nut to budge to remove it and put the new one on. We could have heated it up and gotten it changed on the trail, but instead we had to limp it back to camp and then to a tire shop the following day to get it swapped.

Oh how I wish I could still carry in California...don't want a Felony charge for a weekend of fun though, plus gonna be way too much alcohol for my XDM or any firearm. But on other occasions in Oregon I never leave without.

Oh I will, 3 plus the heavenly tempur-pedic one haha. I'll invest in a bottle of Silver Oak...just bought my lift so I'll be mooching everyone elses alcohol haha:artist2: I don't think anyone will notice honestly...bunch of drunks they are.

You'll be in CA! Take advantage. Bottles of Espolon Reposado are only $17 and the anejo is only around $22! Both just as good if not better than most $40-50 bottles.

I'll be taking advantage of it all haha...tobacco, Jameson, the GIRLS. Too bad the gas is outrageous :AK47:.

Thank God it's Patagonia. Otherwise, you may not make it.

For me it's never a list of what I brought, it's always a list of what I forgot.

I was the same way. For a few trips I made a list of the things I "needed" and didn't have, and filled those gaps. After that, I made a list of the things I used and the things I didn't. The things I didn't use (my Helio shower, for example) are no longer in the camp box.

lol, sure beats the pants off 55 gallon garbage liners with holes cut for the head and arms. Any rain slicker is better than none. At least for me here local in what is technically rainforest in America.
