What do you do with that little tray/fold out pad for? (armrest)

For those of you who don't know, on the center console, you'll notice there's a gap approx 3-5 inches on the center arm rest. It pops out and flips over into a make shift mini table.


What use do you use it for??

maybe holding a burger?

it has been affectionately called the burger tray before. It actually holds a burger king cinamon sticks pack very well too

I've seen people put the dry erase board material on there. Then you can quickly jot down a note or idea.

Should be perfect bro..... that would look sweet!!!!

If I can give you a tip before you start: take measurements before doing any cutting. You can remove the padding from that tray by removing the 4 small screws on the inside of the tray. Then make certain that the height of the Starmate will not be TOO large to fit in there if you plan on doing the install like I did. You can do that by measuring the inside of the padded part and seeing if your Starmate will fit in those dimensions.

Thanks for the tip. As of now, I have it mounted in my cup holder but it keeps on falling. I want to make sure I will be able to open/close my center console before I do anything permanent.

Anybody know about the trash bag holder on the back of the center console where the feet of the middle passenger in the back would be sitting? The silver trim piece pivots out and up and you can hook a plastic trash bag onto it for putting small trash in it on road trips.

Yup, I have the JDM Hilux Surf trash bag there. I use it pretty much daily.
