What don't you understand? I put the orignal sitcky pad in the foldout tray. Then I put my cell phone on top of it. The tray has no traction at all, and the sticky pad fits perfectly in there.

It's useless! I don't use it and can't think of a single reason for it to exist. Maybe the serious modders will have fun with it, but for most regular daily drivers it's a waste of space. The damn thing doesn't even do a good job of holding an order of McDonalds fries.

Over generalization which I don't fit into!

It holds small paper bowls of food when I have to dash out the door. It becomes a little writing surface & I keep a small mechanic pencil in there. Also holds a burger pretty well too! Not perfect perhaps, but neither are . . . ah, me.

Thanks. I can't take credit for it. I saw it on this site awhile ago. I got post-it notes in the cubby hole below the tray. Best of both worlds.
