I can't really tell, but the first one looks like it is polished instead of being chrome. If so, I really like that one. Personally (AND THIS IS JUST MY OPINION), I like the polished look over the chromed out wheels. The chrome wheels look good, but it is just my preference.

I must say that I agree with you. I like the polished one's myself. My 4Runner is Galactic Gray and I'm not too sure how chrome rims would look on it. My girlfriend likes the second set much better though. So... I'm still contemplating it. Any other suggestions are welcome.

I also agree on the polished vs. chrome...

I had 20's on my '02 Explorer and they were machined aluminum, much like the stock 17's on our 4Runners, and I got a lot of compliments on them. They were the Moda R7's which many people have seen, but the only problem I had was that because the inner lip was so big it made them look like 18's

I have the very same wheels , Moda R7 on my 97 4runner, I like them alot, polished and not too bling.

BTW, I personally think 18's look better on 3rd gen, they fit and does not take away from the lines of the rig.

I see 20's on these size rigs and they just take the look away from the vehicle.

I like my mods to nicely blend with the vehicles.

But , I think the wheels themselves look good.

Personally I think they are TOTALLY bling....big rims and low profile tires on a 4x4 looks major bling bling to me.
