what do you think the best looking tires are on a 3rd gen?

BFGs have the best white lettering in the business period but I prefer the look of my Nittos and their on-road performance and of course their price.

Brand new about 4 years ago and will have a new set in a few months.

To me all road tires look the same, all terrains start to look a little different, and mud terrains can vary a lot.

But these tires really stand out from the crowd!

I'd have to say that I love the look of mud terrains but for me personally they aren't very practical, and im sorry BFG AT's are way too over-rated.

Overrated as in what? They are all-terrain tires geared more towards off-road. Strong sidewalls, nice lugs, made to be aired down, good treadwear---what

I'm fond of my Yoko's, I just LOVE the raised white letters. They have great traction, and road noise is near non-existent.

raised white letters are so 90s! haha! The geolanders look a little too tame for my tastes.


To the other poster:
The BFG is a good tire, im not gonna say they are overrated, but i am gonna say they are overpriced. the last set i bought took A LOT of weights to balance, and still are not perfect. I do remember back in the day, i bought a set of 32x11.50x15 BFG A/Ts and they didnt need any weights at all.

Well they are very tame, but that's the point. I have a 2WD and have no inclinations to take it trailing, nor to I plan to pretend it's 4WD with a big lift and stuff like that. It suits me perfectly.

yeah, im sure they are a great road tire, and i know a lot of guys on here run that tire(2wd and 4wd) and liked them. As long as it makes you happy, thats all that matters. everyone has their own personal tastes, and budgets. i bet they are quiet?

I want to say they are quiet because I honestly have never noticed road noise. Maybe because I usually have my music blasting. haha

i'd recommend the bfg km2s, great wear so far and relatively low road noise. worth every penny in my opinion.

If you like the BFG AT's but are on a budget, the General Grabber AT2 is a copy of the BFG's.
Obviously you are going to sacrifice some quality and toughness of the BFG but they share the same tread pattern and the Generals are CHEAP!

really? if you don't mind me asking, how old are you?

I want a lift to but I just don't have that kind of money

shiiit im still trying to get those LED tails.

i'm 17. i work at a meat market haha. my dad was really opposed to me getting 4wd. hes's just opposed to it in general he bought me a 2wd 4runner, i picked it out before i realized i wanted 4wd. then i realized it and for about a year it was all i could think about. so we finally sat down and talked about it, and i told him i'd pay for everything that went into getting a 4wd 4runner, which i did. but i have to pay for anything i wanna do to my truck so its a slow process. i'm about to get my tax refund check so i should have my new tires within 6 weeks. and i'm trying to get the LED tails too, they're 168 on ebay.
