how much does that weight and how long you towed it for? my guess it weights around $2000lbs ... looking to tow 3500ish but not sure if my 3.4 is going to like it :boink:

I tow a custom built 20 foot Big Tex flatbed trailer. It weighs 1750 lbs. empty with a 7000 lb maximum capacity.
It is used to transport my ever changing collection of vehicles (mostly Toyotas), transporting project supplies and my buddies' project vehicles.

What size is your cargo trailer? Can you fit a quad in it? I am thinking of getting something that size. Looks like a 6x10. I'm thinking of getting a 5x8.

and haven't tried, but it does have a trailer....my parents own the marina it's at, so no reason to tow it anywhere...

How do you like that Suzuki 225EFI? We have the same year 200EFI and its been great, just don't see too many of them.

It's fine, the only problem we've had was a burst water coolant hose while out in the middle of the bay (doh). It came on the boat. That said, it's a pretty heavy boat and I'd like a bit more power...the 225 gets it up on plane, but not with much authority. I'd much prefer a pair of lightweight 150s or a big 250 perhaps. Not in the budget though, and I don't get out on the boat very often anyhow.

Fortunately, my parents own a marina (where the boat is docked), so the boat gets good care and maintenence and they use it occasionally too (the marina boats are mostly smaller stuff and their personal boats are sailboats..).
