Hey guys,

It's about that time, steering is a little tough, fluid is below the line. What do you guys recommend/use. Thanks for the feed back!

I use Valvoline Maxlife ATF, couple times a year I suction the reservoir dry and refill with it. What I take out usually still looks pretty good, but still an easy way to keep the PS system in good shape.

Whatever you use, make sure its compatible with your vehicle. I used my "normal" power steering fluid in my Honda Accord and I was changing a power steering pump within 6 months. Honda has a specific fluid that is not compatible with all other fluids. Toyota may also.

Thank you guys! Will look into valvoline max life and mobile one. May as well flush my system and start fresh :)

Over the last 40 yrs.(approx.) - I've used both the recommended Dex-III and plane jane power steering fluid in different Toyota's. The results were the same. Either will work.
Many dealers these days use power steering fluid; there may be some who use Dex-III.
Pick a card.
