What do you use the outlet for in the trunk space?

Are those ports possible to deplete battery if engine not running? I have not used mine. I rely on the Jackery so as to not deplete starter battery. I would assume if engine is running you are pretty safe on using cigarette style 12V ports?

I do not think they work if the car is not at least in ACC mode.

The 2nd row seats are almost always folded down for the dogs travel bed, so I ran an extension cord up the side to an anker usb port and have 2 usb fans that hang from the driver/passenger headrests to circulate air to the back for the guys

Do you have pics of this setup? Maybe the parts you used for it? We keep our pups in the back with the seats down as well so I'd like to do whatever we can to make it more comfy back there for them.

sure, it's not a very sophisticated setup - the extension cord is just tucked under the cargo and floor mats. the anker is nice as you have a couple extra charge ports available as well (only have 1 fan in right now)

tip: once in drive you cannot turn the inverter on, so if I forget to press the button prior to hitting the road and don't feel like stopping I learned you can shift into neutral, turn it on, wait about 1-2 seconds, shift back into drive and it will stay powered.

I did pretty much the same thing, but mine is ran off of the 12v outlet. Bought a 12v extension cord and ran it under the canvasback covers, bought a 12v splitter, and the fans. They are small but put out a ton of air and are adjustable. Also gives me 4 additional USB ports (that I haven't needed yet :lmao

Haha Same here, literally the only use I've found for it so far. The fact that its powered on/off with ignition prevents it from being useful for anything that needs power constantly like a fridge.

Kinda nice to have the Christmas lights on a dash mounted on/off switch. For some reason the police don't like it when I run around town with them on.

Mostly used for an electric cooler and R/C Truck battery charging with both 12v and 120v outlets. Both outlets when needed.

Used the 120v outlet to run a soldering gun when I did not have an extension cord long enough to repair driveway lights.

Ran the 120v outlet 5 to 8 hours a day for 7 days to run a small chest freezer due to an ice storm power outage at home. My millage that week was 3.2.
