What do you use the outlet for in the trunk space?

I've also used it for a small 12V auto vacuum when cleaning the cargo area. That's pretty much it.

Was planning to swap it for an OEM dual USB rapid charger - a bit more useful if anything.

I use it to vacuum out the truck with my shop vac. Much easier than untangling and stringing extension cord. It trips out the system a time or two and runs a bit slower than if plugged into a standard outlet but it is easier and quicker.

The 2nd row seats are almost always folded down for the dogs travel bed, so I ran an extension cord up the side to an anker usb port and have 2 usb fans that hang from the driver/passenger headrests to circulate air to the back for the guys

On long road trips we'll use a USB block in that plug for the kids to charge their devices. That and the power port.

Are those ports possible to deplete battery if engine not running? I have not used mine. I rely on the Jackery so as to not deplete starter battery. I would assume if engine is running you are pretty safe on using cigarette style 12V ports?

I've used mine for LED light strip in the back cargo area. I think on the trail I'd also engage it to charge up cordless drill/saw batteries. Haven't tried that yet, though.

The problem i have with it, is that it's not hot with the key off, so I haven't considered using for a fridge.

I keep a Ryobi battery charger in the back and use it to charge up 18V Ryobi batteries for misc tools I use for work, as well as a Ryobi chainsaw and fan when I'm camping.
