What does ETC button do?

What does the ETC button do that is near the E-brakes?

ECT stands for Electronic Control Transmission.

It allows each gear to rev higher before shifting to the next gear.

I often use it for towing.

Just changes your shift points. Mainly used for climibing hills or towing

I was kinda wondering too... I might give that button a try when towing my jetski(900lbs) I think i still have to balance it better..I did have a slight burning smell while towing it yeasterday I hope it because it's working harder than it normally does..
