what does this mean?

does anyone know what the insignia on our beloved toyotas means? the oval with another oval thingy inside of it must mean something, and would appreciate it if one of yuze guys would enlighten me!

It's a T...for Toyota

It is a "T" comprised of arcs. If you lay it out on paper and trace intersecting arcs, you can come up with the design.

It is a bit different, rather "engineer-ish" in design, but I like it myself...partially because of just that design feel.

Does the Lexus emblem mean the same thing? I don't see an "X" in there!

what does this mean

Building Toyotas for over two years they explained to us that the ovals in the emblem signify both eternity(the figure eight) and the letter T.
thats what the big toyota cheeses told me when i started.
