I don't really have that much survival equipment but here is what I have
2 Arb 4.75 ton shackles
2 30ft X 2in 10 ton tow ropes
1 Arb recovery strap
1 Fire extinguisher
2 pocket knives
1 S.O.G. machete
2 Pillows
2 Blankets, one cloth, one space.
2 jacks(both the stock jacks my buddie wrecked his runner)
4 Red flares
10 boxes of matches
1 20ft roof strap
my rig is mainly a beach rig so my equipment is great for what I need it to do, the tow straps obviously for pulling out jeeps. :p

Extra Sox
Shoes
Thermals (during winter), Coat, and Pants
Basic Tools
Recover Straps
Block and shackles
Misc repair items
Tire Repair Kit
Shovel
Very small emergency stove and pan for boiling water
MRE
Pistol
Blanket
Snacks
Water
Rope
Fire Extiguisher
Good LED FlashLight
Etc.

Right now the main goal for me is to figure out how to bring more of the specific necessary tools that I need. And keep them mounted low towards the center of the vehicle.

It concerns me that nobody has listed toilet paper. Personally I think it is a nice thing to have in the woods.

That's funny! I always have a fresh roll in a zip lock. When you end up having to use a sleeve off your t-shirt, well for the rest of the day, everyone knows.

This is my current list of gear I always have in the back.
