Someone just asked me what happened to the motor and its actually a pretty awesome story so i thought i'd share it with all of you...
I got the 1gr like 3 weeks ago i think. because of the how hard the install looked like it was gonna be i started reading more about toyota engines and realized that the 5vz (3.4l) is a 10x better enginge so I put the 1gr on craigslist (Denver). The next day (this is where it gets weird) my friend toby calls me, I havent talked to, or seen him in like 2 years. He tells me he wants to hang out, go grab a beer, catch up with each other. Now the last time i saw toby he was a mechanic at a toyota dealership and had been for a while. So he shows up in a brand new 2008 toyota tacoma. I tell him his truck is awesome and he tells me
"ya but i wish i would've gotten the V6". 
hehehe. So i tell him "funny story, I have a 1gr + trans with 30k miles in my garage". Then I ask him, "do you still work at toyota?" he says "YA". so as it turns out i sold the motor+trans to him for a reasonable price and in turn hes getting me a brand new trd supercharger and some other stuff ill tell you all about later. Problem is he cant get the s/c till april cause they're on back order and technically toyota doesnt make em anymore.
