I figured this thread would suck balls as soon as I read "Miata" .... and when in the same sentence he said "redline" I was certain. I tried to read it, couldn't.

I have a manual Miata, and when I accelerate hard in 3rd (usually on an on-ramp), I can easily get to the redline ......
