What HU is this???

Hey guys I have a question. I have a '03 T4R Limited w/ OEM Navi and 10 speaker JBL. The question I have is what options do I have when it comes to the HU I have. After all the research I have done doesnt turn up anything on the model# on the HU. It says 17006 on the bottom right and I have double checked it with the build list of my truck at the local dealer. What I would like to do is either change the HU with another OEM unit or an aftermarket one. But I dont want to dump a ton of cash into it because I will be trading it towards a new truck either next year end or the year after. Thanks for you help guys (and gals )

If you go with an aftermarket HU, you'll need a JBL amp integration or bypass kit.

I'm not sure, if any or what the complications will be using a newer OEM nav HU from later 4th gens, because the those only have 8-speakers and not the 10-speaker system that you have. I would assume the amps are different between yours and the newer ones.

so what I am thinking about is swapping my current HU with a 04-06 Solara HU (E7001).

With having the 10 speaker JBL system, I think it should be a plug and play install.

Also this HU should have Bluetooth and steering wheel control funtions?
