What in the world is going on with my radio presets?

Hey all-

I have a 2020 with the JBL audio. Since new, I've had ZERO issues with my radio or anything associated with it...until about a week ago.

I have 20 presets. Normally, pressing up or down on the steering wheel control cycles through all of them, from top to bottom or bottom to top. Like so:

1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10-11-12-13-14-15-16-17-18-19-20-1-2-3-4-5-6...

and back down the other way, pressing the other button

1-20-19-18-17-16-15-14-13-12-11-10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1-20-19-18...


What's happening now though is that it's only cycling through half.

For instance, pressing the down button will cycle presets 1-10, then back to one. Like so.

1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10-1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10-1...

And if you press the up, you get the other half

20-19-18-17-16-15-14-13-12-11-20-19-18....


It's maddening. I have absolutely no idea why it's doing this. Anyone have a clue?

I remember on a different make/model vehicle (Chevy Volt to be exact) there was a setting for how many PAGES of favorites I wanted to have, so you don’t end up scrolling through a bunch of blanks (or so you have enough, too).

Does Toyota have something similar?

Just a guess but maybe the system updated and it has different programming or options.

I have a 2020 with JBL but don't really use presets in the same way as you. I have not noticed any changes.

Same here. About a week or two ago. I reprogrammed each preset. Fixed.

Usually in the options you can select how many presets you want it to hold

Gotcha, I figured that was going to be my next move. Glad to hear it works. I'll give it a shot.
