What is everyone doing with their tax refund this season?

One year, I remember buying 17" bronze Volk TEs for my G35. I think Clinton was in office lol.

I said I was going to buy a lift and other stuff, ended up getting tired for my 3rd gen and my 14 mazda6, a new fuel pump, and now new front brakes for the mazda. Being a 29yr old vet in school, I can't justify a lift now even though I probably have a few grand left from my taxes. Haha.

I bought lots more tools to work on my rig. I never owned a torque wrench, now I own three. Bought strut compressors, tools to press out the upper ball joints, puller set to break free tie rods and ball joints, a Milwaukee 3/8" cordless ratchet, pry bars, breaker bar, and probably more but you get the idea. Some of the stuff I bought I can rent at auto parts stores, but I like owning my own tools.

I got my TBU, and the bushings for my lca's and got a sweet battery mount from ballistic fabrication. Now I just need to get some time to get it all installed.

Was going to get a savage rear bumper but nothing has been said yet so decided to give the money to wife for her downpayment on a newer Tacoma.

New shoes for the rig. Had one that wouldn't hold air and didn't have a spare. Bought 5 and found a used matching split 3 spoke for a spare. Glad to have a 5 tire rotation.

Tires. Michelin LTX M/S2s are from the PO, manufactured in 2009 and installed in 2010. Tread's okay but the sidewalls are cracking and one leak has already been plugged. Don't offroad so looking @ low rolling resistance to see if it'll up the mpg.

Half of it will go into my TD Ameritrade account, the other half will be put into our "buy a new car" account. I have to clear up some garage space (sell two cars), but then it will be time. We've been passively shopping for about a year now, so I am pretty stoked.

Normally every year I get 10-15k back and spent 3/4's of it on my 4Runner. I did it last year on my 5th gen...

On August 28th 2015 I went in for a simple surgery...ended up being paralyzed and went straight into another surgery and am very slowly recovering. So lost my 5th gen, had to cash in my retirements to pay for general living expenses and took a huge penalty on them. So I'm now even more broke (if that's possible). On a semi positive note I believe i'm moving in a few months to where I will be only paying 400 for rent and should be able to put some money into the 4Runner!!

That sucks. My girlfriend's uncle went in for back surgery, supposedly minimally invasive, couldn't walk for two months.
