What is the best H.I.D brand for a 3rd gen?

I'm a total enthusiast regarding night illumination, don't know if its because a I wear glasses, but I would like to implement H.I.D in my car. Any suggestions? Looking for true white output.

that question has been asked many times. In order to have true perfect HID with pure white, you would need projectors and somewhere around a 6000K color HID kit. No one sells projectors or kits for the 3rd gen though. I have heard that the 99+ headlights with a casper shield do well. There are many ebay kits on sale and here as well. Keep in mind that 4Runner use the same bulb for high and low beams. If you want to retain the option of having high beams you will need to make sure the HID kit you purchase has this option. Also keep in mind if you have an alarm that flashes the headlights, you will want to disable this. Not too good for HID to be flashed off and on over and over for a few minutes. Not too many people have done HID on the 3rd gen so just do your research. On ebay there are many good priced kits that offer high and low beams and come with a good warranty.
