What is the difference between "cleaner wax" and "wax"?

I am confused, please explain it to me.

I believe a "cleaner wax" has solvents (and possibly mild abrasives) in it to remove particulates from the finish. Did you ever notice how easy wax will remove road tar from your paint? Works almost as well as Bug and Tar remover.

Generally speaking, cleaner waxes contain chemical polishing agents meant to remove paint defects such as oxidation. They usually lack abrasives, which are reserved for more aggressive polishes.

Waxes, on the other hand, are simply for protective purposes, and have no cleaning ability.

Cleaner waxes are great , but you would be better off with a polish/sealant. Polish is basically the cleaner part of the cleaner wax.
