What is the fastest speed you ever got?

Hey All,

I got 175 KPH on my 04' Ltd 4 Runner today, And I must say it was way above my expectations - superior control of the road, no engine noise, it did not even feel like I was going too fast. I used to have Grand Cherokee Ltd, after 140 Kph it felt like this car was going to take off and fall apart. This truck rocks!

I have had it over 180 km/h... I've removed my speed limiter, but I have no clue what it was.. probably 190 or so..

i can get my 22re all the way up to 80 if i try really hard and go down hill

90 MPH or so in the 4Runner; it seems real stable and willing to go faster, but I don't trust the tires for speeds above 90.

110 MPH+ in the 330i; I didn't want to look down at the speedo.

I've hit the governor a few times in the 4runner. It kicks in like 5mph after the speedo ends. i'm guessing like 115?

But my record so far is 160 in my brother's...

I hit speeds of about 130 pretty commonly in my Acura Legend, It tops out at about 149 though. I'll let you know what the 4Runner does when I get it.

Just want to test it ability a little bit, so I got upto 95 mph then decide to let it going down. It is really stable. There is no vibration. I hope there is a track around me to test its max speed.

decided to reduce speed as my other half started reminding me that the vehicle had just done over 1100 miles.I am definite it would have gone more.Very stable handling but a slight gush of wind while overtaking a 18 wheeler would force me to hold the steering at the 10-3 position.

uuummmm.......I'm glad I don't live around you.

I'm no grandpa at the wheel but I also don't go regularly racing people at over 100mph in a truck. Sounds dangerous for alot of people, not just yourself. One avoidance maneuver in that truck at those speeds and you are toast.
