Ahh. Sounds like bs to me. I never trust black plastic boxes with two wires. Um sure you can "feel" that extra powet. I know someone has had to of bough one!! I want to know if their engine was damaged. I still have my platinum warranty. I could blow up my engine before the warranty expires.


Does anyone know if you never use your warranty if they credit back you $? my buddy got money back when he didn't use his warranty but that may have been a dealer specific deal.

Ohhhhhh hahaha my dad bought one of these for his Scion once.... I ripped it out the first chance I got when he wasn't looking.

If I recall correctly, it intercepts the intake temperature sensor's signal and tricks the ECU into thinking the air charge is cooler than it actually is, in efforts to dump more fuel into the cylinders. That's it.

Of course, in the real world, the O2 sensors do their job and the engine quickly trims the fuel delivery back to where it should be and you're out $20.

But hey, my dad really thought he felt a positive difference. So I guess we see why they're still selling those jokes.... :frusty:
