Rear Bumper fix HELP

SO I backed into a light pole and wrecked the left side of rear bumper

I am wondering what the deal is with these bumper end caps from ebay.

Is the bumper 3 pieces? Am I supposed to cut the bumper and make this fit together? Thanks for your help.

The rear bumper is 3 separate pieces. Probably only way to disassemble is to first remove the entire bumper though. Not hard, that's a 20 minute job. once disassembled, you'll see the small bolts holding the 3 pieces together on the inside of the bumper.

how pristine are you looking to have this fixed? Are you doing the paint or paying someone?

If it were me I would skip spending the additional $120, pull the bumper off, heat it up with a heat gun and push out the dent. It doesn't look like you tore or cracked it at all.

Hit it with some buffing compound and see where it gets you. Pop in a new reflector and go on your merry way. If you're not painting this your self I'd say you're probably looking at 150-400 depending on where you go to have the piece painted. If it were mine I would buff as much as possible and possibly do some touch on the deeper gouges.

Yea after offroading and going forward and back and forward again to get over an obstacle ive hit my corners a few times.

Id try to heat it up and push out as much as possible. smooth the contours with some bumper filler. Sand it down. Get some color matched spray paint and clear coat then wet sand or polish. Will look enough from 6 feet away

hit it with some heat, get it pushed out and give it a good buff. Might looks more than good at 6 feet. body filler and all that is tedious work rattle can spray/clear won't look nearly as good as some scuffs on original paint.
