Saw a harness with no home under the hood today....anyone know what it's for? Can't see where the wire goes other than up, without taking stuff apart

It's for the flux capacitor, you didn't opt for that option when you got the car?

you could always go back and add the option...oh wait, nevermind, you cant...

You'll find that on a lot of vehicles.

Many manufacturers find it a lot easier to have one wiring harness setup no matter what the options. So the harness may be there with connectors...but just missing the option. Not sure what option could be there right next to the radiator and horn...but that what it looks like to me.

The connector/sensor in front is the outside temp sensor. That loose connector looks like it should actually go to something only because it has the white clip on it with tabs that should fit into a oval hole.

Now, it may be the optional alarm sensor connector, and somehow it popped out of its location or at some point, someone was in there, popped it out and never put it back. It may also connect into the hood latch. That plastic cover on top isn't hard to remove. It shouldn't be too bad to figure out where it could go.
