What is this part called?

Hit some lady driving DUI and trying to replace some parts. I've found almost everything I need at a salvage yard in Mississippi but don't know how to explain to the guy what it is and mine is too mangled.

I call it "that thing that sticks down and rubs my tire at full stuff that I keep forgetting to hack off when I get back to the house but suddenly remember the next time I go wheeling". Your mileage may vary.

It's going to be spot welded or otherwise bonded to the inner fender, would be my guess. Your bumper bolts to it, but I bet you could do without it, or bend the one you've got back into shape enough to serve.

Mine wasnt welded on, just bolted underneath. And it was messed up bad enough where I think Im going to need as much support as possible

I will check the classifieds out. I noticed your in SLC as well. Do you know anyone local that is parting one out? The place I found is Mississippi is giving me the matching color fender w/flare, headlight and turn light with mount, bumper with good paint and no scratches or dents, and all the hardware for $450. Decent deal?

I don't know of anybody parting locally, sorry. You checked KSL?

I'll let somebody else that knows these 3rd gens better tell you if that price is good, but it doesn't seem out of line to me, especially if it's the same color and saves you some paint work. What's the shipping going to run?

That includes shipping! And he said he would throw in that piece if I could figure out how to describe it or send him a picture of it.

I think this is the part.
