I'm upgrading the rear door speakers and ran across this just above the speaker. Any idea what it is and/or what it does?

Think it might be the rear tailgate lines

You're probably correct. It looks like the open wire simply terminates inside that silicone sleeve, like it's just a standard wiring harness for an option I don't have.

Looks like part of the wiring harness for the Flux Capacitor (that was only available on Limited models to help increase horsepower).
