What kind of gas mileage are you getting?

I have an 04' Sport V6, and am hard pressed to get above 15mpg with mixed driving. What are other 4th gen V6 owners getting? I knew I would not be setting any gas mileage records with this truck, but 15 seems kind of low.

The lowest I've gotten is 15.4. That was the first time I filled it up after bringing it home. The highest I've gotten is 24.6 and I'm averaging around 21-22 mpg. These are with mixed driving and are the actual numbers, not the ones from the inflated display. But just for kicks, here's a picture of my computer reading 31.1 after filling up and driving 50 miles straight on the freeway.

15 mpg seems a bit low, hopefully it will rise.

Don't kid yourself, 15 is about average. Some people get 18-20 but most get 15. I'm getting 15 and I have a supercharger, before I was avg. about 19. Remember the onboard computer is always off by 2, so my onboad computer would always read 21. Right now like I said I'm getting 15mpg or 345 miles per tank.

My computer tells me I'm gettin 10-11 mpg...

It's because I just upgraded to larger tires 285/75/16. Therefore my calculations are all off (my speedo is off too).

But realistically speaking, I'm getting around 14-16 on a regular basis so what you're getting is normal.

The v8 to v6 comparison is minor btw. I've read people getting some big differences in mpg between the two engines but from reading alot of members here and on other boards, it's more like 1-2mpg if that between the two engines.

I think it varies. I get 16-18 around town, 21-22 on the highway.

I avg about 18mpg actual in mixed driving. 15 does sound a bit low for your V6. Maybe the mpgs will improve as your truck breaks in... I hear the gas mileage isn't the best in a brand new engine, it takes a few thou miles.

Also, hitting alot of stop-n-go with the A/C on... I could see the mpg's drop.

It seems like my mileage is pretty consistent.
