what kind of lift do you recommend

Just put a 4-5" body lift on. You will maintain the stock ride and have all the clearance you need for your oversized tires. I made mine out of 4"x4" wood blocks and Plasti Dipped them black.:trophy:

You really need to read the entire FAQ thread.
You are going to continue to get joke answers and bashed until you read this. It has most if not all of your questions.

Also you won't be able to do it right for cheap. Spring spacers will lift it but have drawbacks. Body lift alone will only give you a look and will not help when wheeling. As far as wheel spacers, search for "wheel spacers" and my forum name.

Honestly, you will probably need to read the FAQ a few times before it starts making any sense. If you are like me and just starting to learn about suspension mods, off roading, etc. it will take time to understand what is what. There are so many different options/variables and no simple answer to your question. I don't even know how many times I have read through the FAQ, looked at other peoples build threads to see what they have done, looked at parts online, read reviews. It's starting to come together now but it has taken time and a lot of research.

Another thing I have learned is that the off road/4wd shops aren't much help either. I have been given bad information at a couple different places now, others offer the easiest solutions like coil spacers, and some wont even get into the discussion at all.
