What mode to do first?

Hi, I want to do a performance mode to my Runner.
Its a 06 V8 4x4.
I'm undecided between doing the exhaust or the intake first. I might be taking a long road trip in the next couple of weeks and would not like to have mechanical problems with the car during the trip.
I might do a brake job to it before the trip also,
Any advise on break pads and rotors?
Thanks

how many miles you got on the clock?

I dont need pads yet and in near 30k.

imho, just wait after the trip for modding.

the easiest one to do is an Intake, then if noise is not a big deal to you, you can add an Exhaust. then down the road you can do a lift, then tires.

What are you going to gain with intake and exhaust ? It will only tap your wallet. Intake mods and exhaust mods only shine the true power when you have a supercharger.

When they say add's 20+ hp or whatever they claim is a BS. Actually dollar for dollar you gain the least amount of HP for the money spent. That is a fact . I've run my different exhausts and intakes ON A DYNO , and hp gains are really a joke for the money you spend. If your doing it for gas milage , again don't waste your money. If you want to do something by a drop in TRD filter. ( my stats and finding were done on a 2000 Mustang GT and a 2003 Mustang Cobra Supercharged )

If you want noise and drone while driving, get the intake and exhaust.
