Hey guys, so ive got a 1997 Toyota 4Runner with a 2" body lift and a 3.5" suspension lift. Right now i have **** Cepek 33x12.50x17, but i want to upgrade them to a 315/70/17. I know that i am good for suspension and lift upgrades and i know a regear to 4.88's is almost a must but what i really want to know specifically is what trimming has to be done for ordinary driving with no flexing and what trimming and mods need to be done for flexing with the 35's? If you guys could help me out thatd be great. Im looking to order my tires in the next month or so.

I dont have 35's but have done lots of research.... I am sure Brian2Sun, Dirtco, Steezemcqueen, etc will chime in.

Things to consider:
- manual hubs
- may need to tub firewall (although with a 2" bodylift and 3.5" suspension it sounds like you may clear without tubbing)
- trim bumpers back farther
- will rub on frame at full lock depending on wheel offset and/or wheel spacer combo

im doing the same, have 33/12.5 with 2.5-3" susp and 2" BL. just have to pound it down in a couple places, basically any place you think the tires might hit, probably have to trim the plastics in back and front, i am anyways, and paint to protect. you have another 1" over me so your should be pretty good.

Thanks for the help guys. Ill post pics when i get the 35's on... if the funds hold out until then :s. ONE question though, is it not necessary to tube the front inner fender? and will i always have rub no matter what at full lock? Ive got 1.5" spacers on.
