What shocks are you running with your OME 890 coils?

Hey guys, this might seem like a silly question, but:

In this Toytec picture...

...the eye-to-stud adapter is shown on the non-booted side of the shock. Obviously the adapter HAS to be installed on the top, but typically the boots are also on the top. I like the boots on top, so they aren't getting hit by stuff that can tear them up as easy. So is Toytec's picture just kind of bogus, or do they actually have to be installed with the boot on the bottom?

Boot goes to the bottom. It won't cause any issues and IMO actually help deflect stones which would normally pit that part of the shock body. I've had the Billy 5125s from Toytec on for over a year and wheeled the hell out of them with zero issue.

OME shocks are a bit more than what I'd like to spend on the rear, so I'm interested in hearing what options other people have gone with.

Not too steep of a price...I'm running the OME Nitrocharger Sport Rear Comfort shocks (60028) with my 890's. ($228 pair) I did a ton of research on this site and came up with the ride that I wanted, mostly a pavement pounder carrying hiking and climbing equipment, dogs, etc...but also a weekend "moderate trail" warrior.

Strong but extremely comfortable ride. Good luck on your upgrade.
