personally im glad my 4runner is nothing like a range rover. i was looking at buying a p38 for a while a few years ago, glad i didnt and got a 4runner instead! 4runners are way more reliable and dependable, just as capable cheaper to maintain and easier to work on, less needy.... the list goes on. oh and btw, a 4th gen 4runners traction control system is more advanced than any thing land rover has now... land rovers current TCS(traction control system) is only slightly better than that of our 3rd gens. 3rd gen 4runners have almost every option that the land rovers currently have. -center diff lock/ awd/ read electronic locking diff. the bad part about being a full time 4wd is that it hurts fuel economy and not everyone needs 4wd... but the people who buy land rovers and range rovers typically have more money the common sense so it figures that they would need the 4wd/awd to park in a gravel parking lot or commute to work in the rain...
