What Storage devices are yall using for the trunk?

Looking for ideas on something that I can put in the back, that stays pretty low, but gives me a place to store my (SRT) stuff. Rifle, Belt, Plate carrier etc etc. I want to just throw my mat back on top of it so anybody looking in wouldn't second look.

Was thinking about something along the lines of a underbed style safe but Im just not sure what the right size to get would be.

Link as an example of the styling I was hoping for. Doesn't need an electric lock, would prefer mechanical or just a key. I just dont want anything too tall and bulky. If yall have any ideas, please let me know.

Several here have built a low storage system that also levels the back with the seats so you can sleep there or haul stuff more easily.

I knew just by reading that title that it was a fellow texan, I will probably use some type of tupperwere or cardboard box, I like the idea of the drawers but I have a big dog and that is kind of his space.

i would not trust a wood drawer to secure any type of weapon.
get something that will secure it and secure it well.
Not gonna be cheap but knowing you had a weapon fall into the wrong hands because you cheaped out would not be worth it

Tuffy and Truck Vault both make awesome "safes" in a variety of sizes that will fit your needs. They are pricey though. But worth every penny. A Tuffy under seat box saved my handgun from an attempt when I had to leave it to go to court a while back.
