What power inverter do I need for2014 Trail

I am sure there is already a thread out here in regards to power inverters. However, I am new to this. I am getting a 2014 Trail Edition within the next week. I plan to camp/tailgate. I would like to be able to power a 36'' tv and maybe a fan. I would rather have more power than not enough, you never know what you will end up plugging in, laptop etc... Obvisiouly this is a brand new car and I will not be in the market for one for a very long time. I want to keep this thing clean as possible so I want to do everything right...

-What brand should I look at?
-Is hard wiring it a bad idea?
- What voltage inverter do I need to power this equipment?
ETC.....

This is a really easy one: Since that TV only pulls 35 watts, the factory inverter that comes in the TE will suffice.

Not sure about the factory inverter, but I'm going to say it's most likely not a true sine wave inverter. From past experiences LED Tv's do not like modified sine wave inverters. LED TV's are great that they draw very little. I would try it out first. If it doesn't turn on then you need to upgrade. As an example. I can get a 600W modified sine wave inverter from Canadian Tire on sale for $29.99. I bought a 300W true sine wave inverter from Go Power for $150. I use it to power a 24in led tv in our trailer.
