Okay so I didn't realize the standard CBI was so expensive...
I'll probably go with the CBI anyways, but what do you guys think about the Perkins Performance bumper?

CBI: $800 (w/o powdercoat, + addl $50 for exhaust port)


Perkins: $595 (WITH POWDERCOAT!)

built the box myself to fit the angle of the back seats, and color matched the carpet best i could. actually just tore one of the foam surrounds on the far right sub, so i have to fix that this week. IMO, the w0's for the price sound amazing, and i only have 500 watts running to them, but they turn heads.

John, its not complete yet. got my marzocchi dual crown fork, headset, bars, and im ordering my wheel set after Christmas. ill send you pictures when im done.

Bryan, im digging the Perkins, especially for the price. does the Perkins bumper have the exhaust coming out the side like the cbi? thats one of my favorite features on the cbi.

I''d still say the CBI, to me the back just seems to be a little clear with the trailer hitch and tow points recessed a little.

Ohh... I really like that Perkins bumper -- where did that come from? If I'd have smashed up my rear bumper I'd snag one of those with mah insurance moneys.:spider:

The CBI is a much cleaner piece...the Perkins bumper is alot like a shadetree bumper...it just looks novice...the space between the bumper and the hatch, less angles...the CBI is polished and perfected and I loveee the exhaust port...but it's +250 and comes bare metal...ugh touch choice...

if thats the case, just go with the cbi. in the end you will be happy that you spent the money with what you truly wanted. why get something that you dont really want as much?
