What to do next?!

Alright guys, I've had my runner for a few years now and have had my lift (3" OME Suspension)/tires(285/70R17 Trail Grapplers) for a year. I'm starting to be interested in actually riding with groups and taking my off-roaring more seriously. Not just mudding...lol I do have a CB radio installed so that got me at least one step closer. But I don't know what to do next!!

I'm interested in a few things, maybe you guys can help me make a choice.

Here's why I'm debating on:

-Coil spacers on top of my 3" suspension lift (want more ground clearance and more wheel travel) but I've been told it will make my ride awful.

-Roof Rack / Safari Rack with hi-lift jack, axe/shovel and spare tire mount. Would this be a good investment or just a waste?

If you guys have any experience with either of these things, please let me know and share your input on which would be a better investment. If you have something else you guys would recommend, let me know!

Thanks, Patrick

If you don't already have them... rock sliders then armor.

If you plan on getting into any club riding here are some of the minimum requirements. Regardless, most of these are good suggestions on items to carry. There's no worse feeling than slowing down the group because you didn't come prepared.

3. First Aid kit.
4. Fire extinguisher.
5. Shovel.
6. Tow rope, cable (when used with a winch) or strap.
7. C.B. radio (antenna cannot be longer than 48"). Whip antennas must be secured.
8. Jack compatible with vehicle, lug wrench, and spare tire (usable, within one inch of vehicle tire height).
9. Flashlight (working).
10. One extraction point at both the front & rear of the vehicle.
11. Tire gauge
12. Serviced braking system with lights
13. Parking brake (may substitute a line lock or other similar device)

Do you think I would get much use out of the sliders? Do you have them?

Seeings that you and I live on the eastcoast, the terrain we usually off-road on is either muddy, rocky, and/or sandy. GA tends to have more woods/rock type topography terrain and if you don't want body damage, it would be the next logical step after tire and suspension upgrades if you plan on doing mild to serious trail riding.

I do not have sliders YET, but i'm in the market now for them which are next on my bucket list of upgrades.

Tires > Suspension > Sliders > Armor
