what to do with stock bumpers?

I am about to get stock bumpers of my 2015 SR5 replaced with shrockworks ones. I am wondering what do folks do with the original stock ones? The front one will involve no cutting. But the rear one will I guess. Wondering if I should hang on to them or not?

Hang onto it, sell it, give it away, trash it. I randomly mentioned that I needed a bumper for my Tacoma because I hit a pole a couple years ago, and someone actually had theirs still sitting in the garage from when they went aftermarket. Same color and everything.

Im sure decent condition bumpers are worth money to people with stock cars that have been in fender benders. That is an expensive part from the body shop.

Drop them off at your local salvage yard. They may or may not give you anything for them, but beats the landfill.

If your have the room. Store them. I am in need of a white 4th gen bumper cover. Would be nice to have a friendly stock about.

With the large amount of sh*tty drivers out there, replacement bumpers will always be needed.

I sold my stock one from an '01 for $150. Probably could have gotten more just for the factory fog lights, but I ended up giving those to a fellow member.

Save the bumper, as if you ever total the 4runner, you can sell the aftermarket bumper (as long as it wasn't damaged) and put the oem one back on.

I sold my 4th Gen front bumper cover on my local craigslist. With all the drivers out there that have to tell their facebook friends that they are on the way to have their hair cut, I knew eventually someone would need it. The bumper cover eventually sold to someone who had a minor impact that cracked theirs and broke his fog light. It wasn't the same color but he didn't care. He got a OEM replacement for a great price and he was going to color match later.

My mechanic kept my 3rd gen front (wonder if he sold it) I'm about to try and get rid of my rear, the only thing I could think was CraigsList. I do have a metal scrapper truck that cases the neighborhood though!
