The chances of a vehicle manufacturer going from IFS to front solid axle outside of some super special edition is basically zero.

I'd also say the chances of a manufacturer taking a vehicle from longstanding V6 to V8 in the 21st Century is also basically zero.

You may be on to something there. I think the biggest waste of space in the 4Runner is the clock area. Always dreamed that if they let me design it, I'd put a multi-function display that gives a ton of data at your fingertip in that spot. Add in the ability to control lights and other aux switches too. Maybe they've been looking at some of my posts elsewhere

I'm thinking that's the rear seat. Toyota wouldn't change it for 2020 just to change it again for 2021. GM does that.
